Our Purpose

Word games like Scrabble®, Words With Friends®, Wordle®, and crosswords celebrate language, pattern recognition, and deductive reasoning. Unfortunately, many word solver websites have become cluttered with distracting auto-playing videos, intrusive popups, and slow loading times that disrupt gameplay.

Lexicon Provenance & Frequency Data

Our solvers rely strictly on verified, publicly documented linguistic datasets with clear licensing. We do not invent words or fabricate definitions:

ENABLE1 (Enhanced North American Benchmark Lexicon)

Compiled and formally released into the public domain in 1997 by Alan Beale and M. Cooper, ENABLE1 contains 168,551 verified English words. It serves as the recognized foundation for North American competitive word games, tournament play, and digital puzzle builders.

Peter Norvig Web Trillion Word Corpus

Empirical word frequency data is indexed from Peter Norvig's Web Trillion Word Corpus (Google Web 1T n-gram project, MIT License). This allows our engine to highlight everyday English vocabulary among obscure tournament lemmas.
